THE PREMISES
In the 1970s, home shopping for clothes was already very popular in the United States. Inspired by this model, the company was founded in 1978 and now offers ready-to-wear collections directly to women in their homes for informal get-togethers with friends - a first in France!
The company sold a range of women's ready-to-wear, lingerie and children's clothing brands (including Georges Franck and Little Frank) before launching the Elora brand.
BIRTH OF ELORA
When Yves Duplatre joined the company as CEO, he realised that trendy fashion was still under-represented in home shopping. So he came up with the idea of creating a more dynamic clothing brand with a unique style, aimed at as many women as possible, to accompany them through the different stages of their lives.
Drawing on the company's 35 years' experience in home shopping, Yves Duplatre launched the Elora brand in 2010 and surrounded himself with a team of stylists and pattern-makers who have worked with major ready-to-wear houses.
In just a few years, Elora has become the fashion benchmark for home shopping in France.

Elora has revolutionised the way ready-to-wear clothing is sold in the home, setting off a veritable movement that has become a must-have.

Commitment to a more responsible approach and launch of the first collection based on recycled materials
Launch of Elora Fragrances: California and Blue Me, fragrances for women
Launch of the Elora brand in Switzerland
Launch of the Elora brand in Belgium and Luxembourg
Launch of the Elora brand in the United Kingdom and Ireland
Launch of the Elora brand in Germany and the Netherlands
