What is a VDI job?
The term VDI refers to a person whose activity consists of distributing the products or services of a company with which they have signed a written distribution contract. They are not employees of the company they represent, but are self-employed under the legal status of sole trader.

How do I become a VDI?
The VDI status was conceived and designed to impose as few administrative formalities and constraints as possible.
To qualify for VDI status, self-employed home sellers simply need to: Provide their company with their social security number.
What products can I sell?
Everything you need. These days, companies offer a wide range of products for distribution, from ready-to-wear to sex toys, cosmetics and lingerie. However, you are not allowed to sell financial or property services.
