Taking care of women
Our commitments to women
Since its creation, Elora has been committed to women. We do everything we can to ensure that every woman finds her place and develops both personally and professionally.
Creating clothes for all women
Our mission is to dress all women, to reveal their beauty and help them to love themselves. We believe that all women are beautiful, whatever their size or shape. To help everyone find their own style, and in the spirit of the Body Positive movement, each season we create collections of clothes from size 32 to 52.
Encouraging Woman Empowerment
Elora wants to offer every woman the opportunity to do a job she loves, to make a living from her passion and to become her own boss. Our Personal Stylists have the opportunity to develop and flourish as VDIs within a serious company with strong human values.
Every step of the way, we support our advisers with sympathetic management and a training programme that enables them to develop their skills and become more autonomous, at their own pace.
Support the Good Planet Foundation
Elora is taking part in the Action Carbone Solidaire programme run by the Good Planet Foundation, which combats global warming while supporting the cause of women in disadvantaged communities.
In 2019, we supported the Bosque Seco project in Peru for :
- To enable women to develop a sustainable Moringa production chain and gain independence through work and the remuneration associated with it
- Follow a reforestation programme and develop the Moringa sector (a small tree with nutritional and medicinal properties that grows in subtropical countries).
- Combating chronic malnutrition among women and children by eating Moringa.
Since 2020, we have been supporting a project in the Saloum delta in Senegal aimed at empowering women and preserving biodiversity in the country:
- Conserving and preserving the biodiversity of Saloum delta ecosystems (mangroves)
- Sustainable production of oysters and other shellfish
- Improving working conditions for shellfish collectors
- Increase collectors' income by improving the conditions under which oysters and shellfish are harvested
- Diversifying collectors' income, in particular through beekeeping.
Fighting breast cancer
Elora is also committed to the fight against breast cancer, the number one cancer among women in France. To give more weight to our commitment, Elora has been involved since 2017 with the Pink Ribbon Challenge association. In 2023, Elora is strengthening its commitment by becoming a patron of the Pink Ribbon association.
