Being a personal shopper as a VDI

As a VDI, you may become a "personal shopper", also known as a private stylist. As a VDI, you develop special relationships with your customers. You have an advisory role to play that can go further than a simple customer relationship!
What is a personal shopper?
While the stars almost all have one, private individuals can also rely on the advice of a personal shopper. Whether it's during a presentation or a private sale, Elora's home shopping assistant also has a role to play in providing support and recommendations - in other words, a personal shopper role. You're expected to have an expert eye for recommending the perfect match, the garment that best suits your customer's style, body type and colour scheme. As a self-employed home sales assistant, you are paid a commission on sales.
The qualities of a personal shopper
As well as mastering dress codes and colourimetry, personal shoppers have a special relationship with their customers and listen carefully to their requests.
In particular, they must :
- suggest clothes that match their tastes, desires and style
- choosing the right type of clothes for the customer's body type
- combining the right colours to create a look perfectly suited to the customer's skin tone
- listening and adopting the right attitude when faced with possible complexes
Attitude and listening are the most important things to remember when you're a personal shopper. It's by developing a relationship of trust that a personal shopper succeeds in satisfying their customers.
Are VDI and personal shopper compatible?

You'll quickly become her personal shopper and she won't be able to do without your advice!
