One of the advantages of being a door-to-door salesperson is the organisational flexibility that allows you to organise your prospecting as you see fit. Canvass in your close circles
As soon as you start your own-account sales activity, launch a marketing campaign in your close circles: family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, etc. This simple step is the most popular with home-based sellers.
Canvass your friends and family
There's no need to set up a canvassing strategy to explain your new business to your family and friends. Talk about the Elora brand, your product range, why you've decided to go into this profession, and so on. You should already be making sales!
What's more,the advantage of a VDI over friends and family is that you can talk to them simply without trying to sell. They'll help you get started. Then, when they see the quality of an Elora product, they will become loyal to you.

Find new customers in your circle of colleagues
If you're a personal stylist as well as a business stylist, tell your colleagues about your additional activity.

If you want to earn a good income in the medium term, you'll need to expand your prospecting zone. Social networks and the Internet represent a world where information circulates quickly. Visit your local shopkeepers too. They may not be your friends, but they know you and could become your customers. To go even further, take a canvassing course to become a genuine VDI.
Find hostesses via your social networks
You probably have contacts on social networks. The Internet is full of opportunities to communicate easily about your VDI activity at Elora. Posts on social networks, Facebook advertising and the creation of a blog page can all help you gain visibility quickly.
Your work as a freelance salesperson means that you gain lots of online contacts. Think about collecting email addresses to send a message proposing your services and a sales meeting.
Approach your shopkeepers
Do you buy your bread every morning and regularly talk to the chemist or postman? Why not start a discussion with all these people to tell them about your business and the products and services you offer?
Finding a new customer is often much easier than it seems.
Train yourself to prospect
If you don't know how to approach people without appearing intimidated or over-mannered? Take a course that will introduce you to the most renowned sales strategies and techniques.
You'll gain confidence and discover how to find new prospects quickly and without too much effort.
You'll also learn how to establish a relationship of trust with your customers, which is essential if you want to build loyalty and make them want to recommend you to others. This is known as Multi Level Marketing, or MLM.
