5 look ideas for the festive season
VDI: our look ideas for the festive season
23 DECEMBER 2020
As the year draws to a close, there's no question of putting your festive look on the back burner! On the contrary, we're indulging ourselves by letting go of our cocooning outfits and donning our most beautiful outfits to celebrate the end of the year. Elora has put together a range of festive outfits to suit every style.
The timeless black dress
Need some inspiration? Trust your favourite black dress! Whatever the occasion, a black dress always makes an impact. The straight cut is easy to wear and suits all body shapes. For example, figure 8s can choose a belt to emphasise their waist. To accessorise and make your dress even more chic, wear it with semi-opaque black tights and a small pair of heeled ankle boots. Add a pretty gold necklace or printed bracelet for a final touch of elegance and you're ready to go!

Outfits are back in fashion and it would be a shame to miss out! The advantage? They can be adapted to suit any outfit: trousers, shorts, skirt... bring out your favourite outfit for the festive season. Depending on your style, wear it with a T-shirt, a thin jumper or a more classic white shirt. For a festive look, opt for outfits with special touches or 100% fashionable details. Faux leather, wild prints and refined materials are all the rage, so why not take advantage?

The rock look for guaranteed success
Rock style has nothing left to prove: it works every time! More rebellious, resolutely glamorous or very chic, it's up to you to find the combination that suits you. This year, long skirts and faux leather are very much in vogue. Black is also very trendy and can be worn with everything. The rock pieces to have in your wardrobe? A perfecto to match every style, faux-leather trousers for a very feminine look, and a T-shirt with a message to wear with more sophisticated pieces for a casual chic look.

The Christmas jumper revisited
The festive season means Christmas jumpers, and let's face it: there's nothing more cosy and comforting than a chunky knitted jumper! The good news is that you can opt for a soft jumper and still look 100% chic. We recommend a knitted or Irish-style jumper, in red for extra pizzazz or beige pink for a softer colour scheme. To add a festive touch, team your jumper with a trendy faux leather stocking, wear pretty earrings and choose your favourite pair of heels.

Romantic and bohemian for the festive season
Romantic and bohemian outfits: a classic for the festive season. Floral patterns are very popular this season, and floaty blouses have never been so trendy. Comfortable and chic at the same time, they're perfect for your evening outfits. For a refined style, choose a piece with a play of transparency, lace or a pleated collar. Looser cuts are preferable, as they can be tucked into your bottom to emphasise your waist.
